Before we announce the winner, I have an announcement of my own.




I want to introduce something relatively new to me, but for some of you perhaps old news. Art Cards Editions and Originals (ACEOs). They are a very cool way to invest in artwork without spending a ton of cash. I currently have 3 limited editions of ten available of my some of my most popular fractals. The cards are $7.99 a piece, hand numbered and signed on the back. As with all the artwork on my website, shipping is free in the US. If you are out of the US and you want to buy some cards, please send me a message and I'll get an invoice to you with proper shipping charges, as I believe right now my site will overcharge you on shipping for such small and easily ship-able items. (It's currently set up to handle large packages out of country...go virtuemart and it's poor shipping options!) I'll see what I can do to correct that in the upcoming days. In any case, you can view the cards and get more information about them at my website. I took the extra step of having them gloss coated for extra protection of the artwork and card itself.

3.) Only one entry per artist.
4.) Focus on Apophysis, keep postwork to a minimum (small adjustments/tweaks, watermarks, no frames)
5.) Parameters must be made available upon request.
6.) Parameters need to be posted in your entries comments, or in a comment underneath, not on the journal page.
7.) Entries must be new works for the specific challenge and not previously designed or uploaded.
8.) Usage of dc_image plugin is not allowed unless expressly called for in the specific challenge guidelines.

Stained Glass

Our challenge this week comes by way of suggestion from Lupsiberg. She actually suggested this challenge quite a while back, and I put it into my suggestions folder, and it seems to have been overlooked for a while. I do apologize for that!

As with all tutorial challenges, you need to learn the style exemplified in the tutorial, and then put your own spin on the design. The tutorial is thumbnailed below.
